Clay and Walnut Lamp.

This was an experiment and personal project that took leftover work from a ceramic 3D printing course and turned it into a functional object. The goal of the piece was to highlight the topography rendered in the clay. The topography is from a region local to my childhood home, and brings biophilic design and lighting considerations to the forefront of the design.

Some tools and machines used were:

  • extrusion 3D printer

  • table saw

  • miter/bevel saw

  • router

  • planer

  • jointer

  • belt sander
